This album is genius. Beck's heavily depressive break-up songs just soothe me with a sonic blanket of comfort, when i'm lost. But the artwork of this album is as equally grand with it's pictoral representation of withdrawal with abstract forms and translucide vibrant colors. Jeremy Blake, the artist behind this cover has an array of gloomy work himself. His digital artwork can be seen in some of Beck's videos for "Sea Change" and also in "Punch Drunk Love" by Paul Thomas Anderson.
